About the presenter:
Rita Fryer is a “mostly retired” nonprofit professional. Although “mostly retired”, Rita does a limited amount of consulting for local nonprofits and small businesses.
Over the course of her career, she has served in various areas of nonprofit administration, including Executive Director, Chief Operating Officer, and Chief Financial Officer. She is a licensed CPA and a Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy (CAP®).
Rita has worked in both the nonprofit and for-profit arenas and brings both a business perspective and mission focus to her work. Rita has served on several nonprofit boards in various positions and is currently on the board of Leadership Tyler. She also serves The Women’s Fund of Smith County Grants Committee, The Association of Fundraising Professionals of East Texas Diversity Committee, and the Leadership Tyler Alumni Relations Committee.
Rita cares deeply about building strong nonprofits and the work that our nonprofit organizations do to make a better world.
Rita is happily married and live in Tyler, Texas with her husband, Fritz and their two dogs, Max and Lucy.
