We believe in providing a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn. Children from families whose income is insufficient to make proper provisions for the needs of their children will receive quality day care as defined by small group size, Low child/teacher ratio, appropriate staff wage, age-appropriate curriculum, and Trained staff-parent involvement.
Mission/Vision: Tyler Day Nursery provides quality child-care and preschool education for children of low-income and poverty-level families in a healthy, safe, and loving environment.
About: Tyler Day Nursery was opened as a project of the Tyler Council of Church Women in 1936. TDN’s purpose was, and still is, caring for the children of low-income and poverty-level families who need quality childcare and preschool education when the parent or parents are at work or in school. We are dedicated to the physical, mental, and social development of the child enrolled in our facility.
